Awards season is now officially underway with the announcement of the nominations for the 2022 Gotham Independent Film Awards. Leading the way this year is Todd Field’s TÁR with five nominations including Best Feature, Best Screenplay, and Outstanding Lead Performance for Cate Blanchett.
In previously announced tribute awards, the cast of Fire Island will receive the Ensemble Tribute award, while Adam Sandler and Michelle Williams will both receive the Performer Tribute award.
The 32nd Annual Gotham Awards ceremony will be held on Monday, November 28, 2021, at the Cipriani Wall Street in New York.
