The Woman King Declared Best Picture by African American Film Critics Association

Gina Prince-Bythewood’s The Woman King has been declared Best Picture by the African American Film Critics Association. The film also picked up a win for Best Director. Elsewhere, Jeremy Pope (The Inspection) and Danielle Deadwyler (Till) were named Best Actor and Best Actress, respectively.
