The turbulent year of 2020 is now seemingly a distant memory – albeit the delayed awards season keeping much of those films in the conversation. Amidst the troubles and the lockdowns and the who-knows-what, 2020 still very much provided an abundance of creative motion picture works of art. Not many seen on the big screen, sure, but what a time to have incredible access to movies via streaming and VOD services. Even though we are now at the business end of March 2021, I still feel this a perfect time to quickly reflect on the tremendous batch of films once again that came our way during an extremely tough year.
