Jonas Poher Rasmussen’s Flee leads the way at the nominations for the 15th Annual Cinema Eye Honors with seven nods including Outstanding Nonfiction Feature. Ahmir “Questlove” Thompson’s Summer of Soul received six nominations and Jessica Kingdon’s Ascension, Jessica Beshir’s Faya Dayi and E. Chai Vasarhelyi and Jimmy Chin’s The Rescue each received five nods.
The Cinema Eye Honors award ceremony will take place at the Museum of the Moving Image in Astoria on January 13, 2022. Full list of nominations below.
