Nomadland Leads AACTA International Awards Nominations

Chloé Zhao’s Nomadland leads the nominations for the 10th Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts (AACTA) International Awards with six nods including Best Film, Best Director and Screenplay for Zhao, and Best Actress for Frances McDormand.

This year, the AACTA International Awards has expanded to included four new categories recognising television series where Schitt’s Creek leads with three nominations for Best Comedy Series, Best Actor in a Series for Daniel Levy, and Best Actress in a Series for Catherine O’Hara.

Typically held in Los Angeles, this year the awards will be announced through a highlights package of acceptance speeches to stream on AACTA’s YouTube channel on March 5. Full list of nominations below.
