Opening: What's Your Pitch?

And so it begins. Or rather begins again. Another shot at a blog, or whatever you are compelled to call it, surfaces like a much-better-than-the-first sequel. Like John Travolta’s movie career when he made Pulp Fiction. Kind of. Or not at all.

And where do you start? I had no doubt when it popped into my head about that. What is to come on here is, right now, not relevant. What is relevant is how I begin. A truly memorable opening, from a great movie, by a legendary film-maker. From a really terrific screenplay, and a whole host of wonderful acting performances. And featuring music from one of the finest modern composers. A movie about the great industry of movies. Perfect.
