‘Parasite’, an international film, wins Best Picture at the 92nd Academy Awards

92nd Oscars Parasite

So there we are, one of the most significant and jubilant Best Picture winners in 92 years of the Academy Awards as South Korean gem, Parasite, wins Best Picture. The first non-English film to do so. Ever. Bong Joon-ho won Best Director, and the film also nabbed Original Screenplay and International Film.

There were of course other winners, mostly not surprising those of us that spend way too much time following these Oscars races. But for now the Parasite tide is way too big and joyous to fast aside. Here are the winners in full, but my God, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences just got international.

I make sure it's known the company's in business. I'd see that it had a certain panache. That's what I'm good at. Not the work, not the work... the presentation.
