The Power of the Dog Wins Best Motion Picture at The 3rd Annual DiscussingFilm Critic Awards

Jane Campion’s The Power of the Dog has claimed Best Motion Picture at The 3rd Annual DiscussingFilm Critic Awards. Campion also claimed the prize for Best Adapted Screenplay. Elsewhere, Julia Ducournau’s Titane was named Best International Film, while Ducournau scored Best Director, Agathe Rousselle won Best Debut Performance, and Vincent Lindon took home Best Supporting Actor. Fran Kranz’s Mass scored four awards for Best Independent Film, Best Original Screenplay and Best Debut Feature Film for Kranz, and Best Film Ensemble.

Now in its third year, the DiscussingFilm Critic Awards celebrates the most noteworthy films of the year as voted by a diverse range of highly established film critics, awards pundits, and influential voices from around the globe, including journalists from notable outlets such as The Hollywood Reporter, Variety, Empire, The Wrap, Little White Lies, The Independent, and more.
