Final Oscars Predictions – Best Supporting Actress

Unlike the absolute chaos of the race for Best Supporting Actress last year, there has been one dominant force this season who has swept in a way rarely seen. Da’Vine Joy Randolph (The Holdovers) has taken charge from her win at the National Board of Review in December and never looked back.

After completing the rare trifecta of wins from LAFCA, NYFCC, and NSFC, Randolph ultimately scooped up a staggering total of 48 wins with the critics groups. To put that in perspective, that’s four more wins than Ke Huy Quan aka last year’s sweeper for Best Supporting Actor. From there, Randolph won the Golden Globe, the BAFTA, the SAG, and even an Indie Spirit Award to complete one of the biggest sweeps in recent times. The Oscar will rightfully be hers.
