Almost 200 examples of South Korean cinema collected votes as many of you and others beyond selected your own preferences in this flourishing segment of international film. Here we publish the best 50 films from South Korea in a short 8 minute video (which hardly does it justice) according to those votes. And what a list it is.
Of course, not all those captivating movies can make the final cut. There is no Whispering Corridors, On The Beach At Night Alone, A Taxi Driver or Christmas in August. Nor will you see the likes of The Day a Pig Fell Into the Well, Bedevilled, Extreme Job or Psychokinesis. But that takes nothing away from this countdown of incredible cinema.
