At Filmotomy the next directors we are eager to cross paths with are the Coen Brothers, Ethan and Joel. The 10 Days of the Coen Brothers run from Sunday 20th May (straight after the Cannes Film Festival closes) through to Tuesday 29th May. Reviews, insights, technical analysis, basically some thrilling coverage. And of course we’re running a poll to rank the 17 feature films directed by Joel and Ethan. Now in their fourth decade delivering their own style of brilliant filmmaking.

All you have to do is pick 7 (seven) which you consider to be the best Coen Brothers films (or your personal favorites). Submit your votes, and we’ll publish the results in a couple of weeks. Barring any kidnappings, tight spots, double-crossings, missing toes etc.

  1. I’m not a fan of Lebowski or No Country for Old Men, but I love Blood Simple, Miller’s Crossing, and Fargo. I hope they do a SciFi film soon.
